The Express Rail Link of West Kowloon Terminus connects Hong Kong to the National High Speed Rail Network of Mainland China. I have been to the Terminus a few times, and the most memorable parts of this architecture is definitely the terminal's roof-scape. It is a series ribbon pathways that spread from ground levels to the roof plane, morphing into a highly sculpted green garden. InTrees, shrubs and other greeneries are planted in beds along parts of the station's rooftopIt, creating a garden that serves as an observation platform along the south elevation viewing towards the skyline go Hong Kong’s famous Victoria Peak and encompassing harbour view. The roof’s circulation creates linkage between retail shops, nearby subway and public transit points. Its curved design creates apertures, bringing daylight as well as visuals by looking down to the platforms.
