Stairs

Stairs

This is my design for the staircase going from the below ground studio up to the showroom space, and is inspired by the words "fly" and "accentuate". It is an assemble of 6 units of the same stair components arranged and aligned at a curved angle with level changes. I created triangular window frames along the staircase,  almost creating a corridor-like effect and hallway-like spaces. These frames along the stair case accentuates the openness to the vitality of its surroundings which essentially helps to draw users' attention and enjoy the view outside.

In addition, I have always been particularly interested in green-architecture. Therefore, I wanted the staircase to be of mixed-use through the choice of materials, with multiple of its facades wrapped with climbing plants, creating a "green-living-wall".
